An opportunity came to me recently to sponsor the award for "Best of Show" in Wickwire Gallery's eighth annual juried art exhibitiion and sale. The name of the eent was City of Four Seasons in Two Dimensions - HEARTH 'n HOME, so it was a natural for combining a little real estate and supporting the arts. The good news is that I came home the proud owner of a beautiful Janet Green Jacobson original!

I'm happy to have co-sponsored a fund-raiser for this new children's museum. It's an enchanting place for children to enjoy hands-on activities that expand the imagination and motivate learning, and also includes educational programs, field trips and special exhibits. Celebrate the kids...our future is in their hands!

Pardee Hospital Foundation's Women Helping Women Committee began in 1998 with the purpose of raising funds to assist women in our community with screening mammograms and breat cancer care that they receive at Pardee Hospital. To date, the Women Helping Women Committee has raised over $500,000 and has helped over 780 women receive lifesaving screenings and treatments. I served as the chairperson for this committee for several years and am proud to be a passionate sponsor of this year's event!
